Chad Michaels FILMING music video NOW at Urtban Mo'S.

At this moment, Chad Michaels is filming a music video at Urban MO's right now.  If you have nothing to do, stop by and watch through the window, or just go inside and order a drink and watch.  They have a poster outside saying that by entering the establishment, you are agreeing to be on camera.  If you make it on camera, you could get into SAG.  Taft Hartley rules exemption state, if you are an extra and your face is singled out and you are considered principal.

We are headed there now.

Catholic students to protest Manila Luzon's booking at USD

Miss Manila Luzon from Season 3 of Drag Race has been booked by the GLBT PRIDE group at the Catholic University of San Diego (USD) in Mission Valley near Old Town (not to be confused with UCSD in La Jolla).  Anyways, Luzon is set to perform tonight at 7pm at Shiley Theatre.  While this sounds like the place where 2 b.  Here's the gag, there's about 5,000 students who have signed a petition urging the school cancel the drag show.  It's not the first time its happened.
Their issue is that drag or cross dressing goes against their teachings and the school's mission statement.
USD students opposed to the show will be hosting a prayer vigil whatever that means outside at 6:30pm, plus they'll also be bringing memebers of the Catholic church to come protest with them outside the gates.

As for Manila, she's not concerned in the least bit. She had this to say:



"If I had as many peple buying my songs on iTunes as I have people signing petitions for me not to perform at a Catholic university, then I'd have enough money to pay for a "gay wedding"!" -Manila Luzon


The Supreme Drag Superstar 2 show starts at 7pm in Shiley Theatre.

Taylor Hearts loses RuPaul's Drag Race fan vote contest.

No God, hunty!  Miss Taylor Hearts or Tony Moya (and the only one from San Diego) ran for a chance to get on RuPaul's Drag Race and LOST!  Why no one vote?  Anyways, her video was pretty funny.  It is now taken down, but I managed to grab a couple of screen shots from it before voting ended.  

This girl can be seen at the local watering holes (Flicks, Rich's, Brass Rail) working the scene, or just getting worked, oh and hammered drunk. lol 

Maybe next year, girl.

Usually, the fan vote is a good way to get in the show, but let's be real, the shit's rigged.  World of Wonder already probably has someone in mind and merely does this as a "formality".
