REPORTING LIVE IN HILLCREST
These streets of Hillcrest have been silent since this morning. Since the SSI checks were deposited this morning, motherfuckers dissapeared like ghosts, some early as midnight. The hotels in Old Town are booked. Some of the ones near College Ave booked. It's also May Day and no one is really working but business on cell phones has increased ten fold. Popo is out in force though, cracking down and doing drug busts. I am not quite sure how that relates to this, but that is what is happening. Anyways girl, those with careers and apartments and every other motherfucker has paid the rent. Our landlord, Yu Pei Nao, is very happy and counting she coins.
Everybody's broke ass will be at Flicks getting drunk with all the white mens then they will go to Richs and dance with the gogos. Gogo contest tonight at Richs. This could be your last chance to pay the rent.
